Terms & Conditions

RESERVATION POLICIES

BOOKING & PAYMENT

We require a 3 night minimum stay in May, June, September, and October. Weekend bookings are not available during July and August months since during this time, we only book by the week (Saturday to Saturday).

We require a non refundable deposit to confirm your reservation. The deposit is 30% of the total booking value. We accept Interact e-transfer, MasterCard or Visa. All rates are quoted in Canadian Funds and do not include applicable taxes. Rates are subject to change without notice. No personal Cheques Accepted.

For all reservations, the balance must be paid in full upon arrival. For reservations made within 14 or less days of arrival, payment must be made in full.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations made at least 30 days in advance will be refunded in the form in which it was paid, less 30% of initial deposit amount. Deposit will be forfeited for all reservations cancelled less than 30 days prior to your arrival date. Refunds are prohibited for weather condition, voluntary departure, acts of nature, or evictions. Any cancellations or No Shows within 14 days of arrival, 100% of booking will be charged. A reservation credit can be issued towards a future stay to be used within one year from the date the reservation credit was issued.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

CHECK IN TIME is between 4:00PM—9:00PM

CHECK OUT TIME for Spring and Fall is 10:00AM.    

CHECK OUT TIME during July and August is 9:00AM.

Guests are asked to arrive at or after 4:00PM on arrival date, however if you are early you are welcome to use resort facilities. There is a $25 charge for each 1/2 hour over the check out time. Sorry, but during Peak Season (July & Aug) there is no flexibility on check in and checkout times.  During off season we can be more flexible with prior arrangement.

SECURITY / DAMAGE / CLEANING DEPOSIT

Upon check-in, a credit card will be required for a $300 security deposit. This amount will be held as a preauthorization on your credit card, nothing is charged to the card unless there is damage done to the cottage (inside or out) during your stay.

We ask that the cabins are left the way you found them at check in - We ask that you clean and put away all dishes, empty garbages, wipe table, counters & fridge, sweep/vacuum or a cleaning fee will be enforced. 

PERMITTED OCCUPANTS

Also please note, each cottage is rated for holding a maximum number of persons. Maximum amounts are

mentioned in cottage descriptions with applicable fees.

Please do not exceed this amount. This is due to septic system capacity, health and Safety and Fire Code.

 

SUBSTITUTION RULE

Beaverland Camp reserves the right to make changes or substitutions to the reservation due to circumstances that are beyond our control.

GENERAL RULES

QUIET HOURS

11PM to 8AM daily

GUESTS

Only registered guests are allowed to use the resort and its amenities. Please have all your guests register at the office. Guest Visitors are allowed (extra fee) and must register at office upon arrival.

SAFETY

Children must be supervised at all times and also have helmets when riding bikes. Children under the age of 12 should not be left unattended. Anyone under the age of 18 must be on their sites by 11pm unless accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 25.

CAMPFIRES

NO outside firewood permitted on property. Campfires are only permitted at the designated campfire pit during the evening and night after 7:00pm. (Times might change during the season, please inquire at the office).

 

For the safety of our guests, cabins, trees and bush please keep your fire a reasonable size. Campfires must be attended at all times, 5 gal pail/ buckets for water are located near wood pile.

Make sure you put your campfire out before you got to bed.

PETS

Only non-aggressive dogs are permitted in the resort. (No Felines). Dogs are welcome as long as they’re on a leash at all times. Animals cannot be a disturbance to other campers. Please pick up after your animals.

 

NO pets on the beach area. There is a maximum of two pets per reservation. Please ensure you clean your site & surrounding area of any pet waste prior to your departure. $10/day per pet.

GARBAGE/RECYCLING

All garbage/recycling is to be put in the designated areas, garbage bins, and recycling receptacles located at the front door of each cottage. Beaverland staff will empty the outdoor garbage/recycling.

SMOKING

For your health and enjoyment of all, All accommodations are non-smoking. A $300 Smoking Fine will be charged to your credit card if you smoke inside accommodations or facilities.

 

Smoking/vaping/marijuana are allowed on your own sites and screened in porches only and are prohibited in all communal areas unless designated. Cigarette butts must be disposed of in the designated receptacles.

LAUNDRY

Coin-op washer and dryer are available in the on-site laundry room. Please shake out all sand and debris before putting laundry in the washer. Only put cleaned clothes in the dryer.

FIREWORKS

Absolutely zero fireworks are not permitted on property. Guests breaking this rule will be asked to leave. 

PARKING & RESORT ROADS

Each cottage allows for a maximum of 2 vehicles in our parking lot. You may temporally park at the cottage to unload and load your belongings and then return the vehicle to the parking lot area. Please obey all posted signs and speed limits. Please watch for children and pedestrians at all times.

ALCOHOL & GLASS CONTAINERS

Inclusions of glass and glass bottles are only permitted on your site. Alcohol may be consumed on our whole property (never on the water), but we ask that you please put it in a non glass vessel.

LIABILITY

Facilities and docks offered at Beaverland Camp are for the exclusive use of our guests and used solely at their own risk. Beaverland Camp and its owners will not hold liable for any damages, injuries, or losses incurred by our guests while on the premises or while operating boats and motors. Guests are responsible for the action and safety of their own, of their children, visitors, and pets. Beaverland Camp will not be held liable for missing utilities e.g. Hydro black outs, natural disasters, etc., however caused.

AMENITIES & FACILITIES

Please remember that all amenities are on a seasonal, weather dependent schedule and may have limited hours during the Spring and Fall. We reserve the right to close any facilities at our discretion without prior notice. Propane tanks are to be used on attached Beaverland BBQS, Charges to reservations will be applied if they are moved or disconnected for use of other cooking equipment.

PRIVACY & VACATIONING WITH RESPECT

Please be considerate of your fellow neighbours’ privacy, and space. Please do not walk-on, nor pass through other sites. We hope you enjoy our resort, and we ask that you treat with respect at all times. Please respect our local culture, wildlife, and seasonal guests. Offensive language and behavior will not be tolerated.

BOATS

PERSONAL BOATS

If you are bringing a personal boat, proof of ownership and valid insurance is required. Watercraft of any type and their trailers are NOT to be stored on site beyond the rental period. Each cottage has its own boat dock (Extra Fee). All boaters must abide by standard waterway rules and have their Pleasure Craft Operator Card with them.

BOAT RENTALS

Beaverland Camp requires a Security Deposit of $500 for all boat  rentals. Boat Operator must be at least 21 years old. For all Canadian Residents who operate a boat you need to bring your Pleasure Craft Operator Card .
