Beaverland Camp was built in the early 1900's and became a fishing lodge in the 1920's. All of our cottages are housekeeping or efficiency, and range from the original log cabins right through to the modern cottages.
Housekeeping cottages are equipped with blankets and pillows. You bring your own sheets or sleeping bags. (linens available for a small fee), dishes, utensils, refrigerators, gas heating and gas cooking appliances. Guests who wish to fish, boat, canoe, or rest in the cool quiet shade, are cordially invited to come and enjoy the entertainment that nature so abundantly supplies at Camp Beaverland. Creature comforts have been added to make your getaway as comfortable as possible, while still embracing the "come back to nature" atmosphere, which is really the essence of our whole enterprise.
A chain of lakes, located in the beautiful unsettled Nipissing Game Preserve, offer the angler a wide variety of fish. There are Lake Trout, Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Whitefish, Perch and Great Northern Pike.
These lakes are easily reached, starting right at your cabin door and continuing on through miles of virgin territory. You may fish close to camp or go far afield, making your fishing trip at Camp Beaverland a most memorable one.
